Genesis was written by Moses, in 1445 BC. Part of the book was written in Egypt and the other in Israel. The book of Genesis is known as the seed plot of the Bible. Many of the great questions of life are in Genesis. It answers the questions: Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going? Genesis appeals to the scientist, the historian, the theologian, the housewife, the farmer, the traveler, and the man or woman of God. It is a fitting beginning for God's story of his plan for mankind, the Bible. In the first five verses of the Genesis 1, it explains that god made a world, a world full of light .
