Analyzing Mindy's Definition Of Workplace Bullying

According to the Workplace Bullying Institute’s definition, workplace bullying “is repeated, health-harming mistreatment of one or more persons (the targets) by one or more perpetrators (WBI, 2017).” It can be threatening, humiliating, or abusive and it interferes with work execution and productivity. Under these criteria, Mindy’s treatment of Ming would be considered bullying.
In this case, the actions that constitute bullying are ongoing and could result in workplace violence or litigation if not resolved. HR has a responsibility to address this situation discretely, tactfully, and swiftly. According to the textbook, all of the complaints made by Ming meet the criteria for bullying based on the seven examples given in the text. Not
