Hemingway Kerb’s stories would be similar to other soldiers, but his would be more confusing because Kerb does not understand what happen to him war. Kerb is trying to figure out why he was a part of the war. He ikes to reads the history book on war to understand why he was fighting and “wished there were more maps” because he wants to understand the locations he fought in. (Hemingway 135) Kerb was trying to find himself before he came back home that why he came home later than the rest of soldiers. He feels guilty for all the lies he had to say to his family. Coming back home is hard for him to adjust to people around him although is okay with the girls new style. He sense that time he left to war and now is different. Kerb notices
