Analyzing Erikson's Theories

In life, we go through different developmental checklist which scientist say deem our social relevance and how well we do with others in society. Erikson’s theory covers the life span from birth to death. His theory consists of eight stages, the passing of each stage ensures that we are on the right track for psychosocial development. In Erikson’s first stage infants learn through their caretakers if the world is to be trusted. In his second stage, toddlers gain a sense of independence, Erikson’s third stage deals with young children taking the initiative and working well with peers. isolation stage and going through college it’s all about making connections and forming durable relationships with others. Something I can do now is to prepare myself for a successful life, yes it sounds cliché. However, what I mean by that statement is that to feel like I have done something with my life I must work hard, network with different people and learn all that I can so that I can use my knowledge to benefit others. I want to become an educator, so to grow in that field I must constantly improve my teaching skills and analyze what works best for me. As for now to prepare myself I can be someone who uses their time wisely and use my road blocks as a stepping stone. I would hate to become a teacher and fail at sowing useful seeds into the lives of my future students. My plan is to each year after teaching evaluate the year and see where I failed and strategize to smooth out those rough patches. A great teacher asks for student feedback, so I want to hear what the students say that I need to work on. With my passion for education I would feel like I have achieved my ultimate goal if I am a prestigious educator who had done all she can for her students’ overall
