While Duster’s training did turn out to be very useful, there were many other consequences that arose of his situation. After living most of his life in his father’s basement, Duster was very socially awkward. Other characters often described him to be bum-like, bad smelling, and even seeming drunk because of the way he walks. Duster ultimately seems more like a tool than a person because he was raised for one purpose and one purpose only, but it is not his fault. However, Duster also shows perseverance and makes the most out of what he can do. Duster plays a major role in assisting Lucas through his journey and eventually begins develop the skills that his father had not provided him with. By the end of the story, Duster has been able to build relationships with the other characters on the island. She doesn’t even bother to call the other characters by name. However, she is forced to go into hiding after the Pig Mask Army rises to power and she takes on a much more friendly persona. When the player finds Kumatora again, she has visibly matured. Kumatora is one of the first to put in an effort to bring the Pigmasks back out of power. As the game continues, Kumatora remains the voice of the game’s heroes. Kumatora represents independence. Kumatora defies many stereotypes with her tomboyish personality and strength. She was able to live on her own, with minimal to no support from anyone else and continues to exhibit a confident attitude. However, as the plot progresses, even she feels more comfortable with her friends around to support her. By the end, she isn’t just confident in herself, but also the people she has grown attached
