Part 1 Asking myself what do I really want is a very good question because I then get to ask myself if what I want in life is really what I need. From what I have learned from Dr. Neal Deroo speech is that we always have to try and push harder to always go for what we want. These wants or desires we have can be seen as being selfish by other people, it actually could be the opposite. Dr. Neal DeRoo also made mention that “We live our lives trying to get what we want this is an act of faith, of worship, not because it says something about what we believe but because, deep down we are more driven by our desires than our beliefs”. What do you do when you desire to have or to do something? You mature to be able to get or do it. What does life desire to do? To become bigger, to grow faster, and to excel. This drives evolution to bring about creatures to fill every society life can imagine, there for creating new societies. We develop new desires derived from the fundamental desire to expand. Those desires are fulfilled by what’s in our DNA called genes, which make a body capable of achieving what we have learnt to desire in life. Then adding to that we learn new desires as we live our lives, and they become so complicated and confusing that it’s difficult to see that the whole web is made out of desires of different weights and …show more content…
In this life the reason we live is to achieve goals we have set for ourselves, these goals are things that we want and our ability to look up to these goals and go after them is because we have faith in God that through hard work he is going to grant us these wants and desire of ours. every day we live to get what we want, and that is what is known as faith. The Kings university would help me to achieve this faith desire of mine, because of the philosophies and conducts that the school holds. This philosophy is present amongst the students and the teachers. Although some professors who may seem to come off as strict world actually help students when help is needed. The way the professor has a close relationship with the student is the type of relationship I would like to establish between Myself and the consumers that buy my
