Analyzing Carr's Arguments Of Technology Profitability

From my perspective, Carr’s arguments on technology capability from central “utility” suppliers instead of their own data centers are in early manifestation stage. I agree that technology has rapidly advanced over the past 15 years. We have come to the knowledge that ITG or IT governance is defined as the processes that ensure the effective and efficient use of IT in enabling organizations to achieve its goals. I think that it is a good idea, with companies like Google, Apple and other with cloud computing provide facts that support Carr’s argument. Just as with electricity a hundred years ago, technology changed from the water/steamboat power to electricity. In-which, electricity flows faster, with more power and speed.
