On Thursday,July 9,1942 Anne Frank and her family went into hiding. The reason why they went into hiding made an emotion of grief because Margot ,Anne's older sister, got a call-up notice. That is when you are supposed to get sent to a concentration camp. The euphemism used by the Nazis where "an area free of Jews " and "cleaning operation". The historical content where Anne Frank is writing is in a secret annex in Amsterdam , Netherlands during world war 2.Anne's emotions at the beginning of her diary will make a person feel happy because Anne said,"our lives compared to other Jews , were in paradise". All though Anne thinks she's in paradise she still has many fears. For example being trapped during an air raid creates a sense of sadness
