Unconditional love (noun): “And at nap time, when we would sleep next to each other. And our teacher thought that was the cutest thing, how I would cuddle up next to you and say you were my big brother. And you agreed just so I didn 't have to move. All the substitute teachers didn 't get it, how two 5yr old 's could be that close. Or how when I left early for a doctors appointment you would come with me because our parents knew each other and you didn 't want me to cry. And every one knew we were best friends, or maybe more than that? All I know is, I 've loved you since we were kids.”
The next four months went by quickly, and soon enough, I got to leave the school. Telling my classes that I was leaving was definitely …show more content…
It was the third day home for Liliana, and Scott and Haleigh were moving out. Luke was crying the whole day, but Liliana simply slept in my arms, not moving or waking up.
Blake walked over to me. "God, you guys look so cute together. Man, I never thought this whole thing was possible. When I was younger, I thought we 'd never be able to get married. Since gay marriage was illegal, and all."
I nodded. "I had this weird idea that we would get married on the same day, but to different girls. I don 't know, I was six."
He laughed. "That 's adorable. Anyway, do you think Liliana will be healthy enough to come in to school next week?"
I nodded, watching Blake lean forward to kiss her forehead. "Yeah, she 's good to go. Fuck, if I had ovaries, they would 've exploded by now. You 're so hot. Especially with a baby."

"Yeah, but she makes little whimpering noises at night, sometimes" Blake smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, as I rocked her in my arms.
"Aw, that 's so sad" Sam said, giving us a soft smile. It then hit me. Sam had come so far. He was completely off drugs and alcohol, and he was still breathing, which was a miracle in itself. Sam never had any hope in himself, always being one hundred percent certain that he would kill himself, but not anymore.
Chris smiled, holding Sam 's hand. "You 're cute."
It was then that I noticed Rose walking over to me, her friends behind her to back her up. "You 're really gay, then? And you 're married to Mr Fletcher? Why don 't you guys have the same last name?"
I shrugged. "I just kept it as Mr Zimmerman, because it was easier for students, but my last name really is Fletcher."
She sighed. "That 's so weird."
Chris rolled his eyes. "Get out, you twelve year old mole
