I chose this poem because just by reading the title "The Road Not Taken" gave me a sense of knowing that this poem would be about someone who chose to go in a different direction rather than the other. Also reading the title made me wonder if the poem would be of someone who has regrets about not taking that road to see where it could have lead them to. In the first two stanza's of the poem Robert says "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both." By having read only the first two stanza's and the title of the poem tells me that this poem it is about making life decisions that are later on filled with regrets.
