According to Christina Cooke, in her article, “The Glorious Feeling of Fixing Something Yourself”. Many people are satisfied when repairing something on their own.However, nowadays mending have become an international obstacle as repair organizations are rare,disposal areas have also expanded, as well as being reliant on manufacturers. In her article, Christina Cooke discussed the feeling you get when fixing something your own. Steve Veghdal took his damaged toaster to the repair cafe with a slice of bread, the toaster was fixed before he has gone. The first repair Cafe was created by Marin Postman, the idea of free occasions where volunteers with tinkering abilities help individuals with damaged items has outspread, people started to gather at cafe shops to patch up broken objects. for example a house that used to have 2 people living in it and then grow to contain 8 over the years will obviously have an enlarged dump.my recommendation is that recycling,reusing, and buying only things you need will help reduce landfills waste.

To sum up, despite the delightful pleasure of fixing something on your own, Christina Cooke has shown different aspects that made mending a tough mission, starting off with the repairing industries becoming odd, the huge enlargement in junk yards and not to forget being dependent on producers. From my own perspective mending is a very enjoyable
