It has come to my attention that there has been lot of controversy about April Henry’s book “The Girl Who Was Supposed To Die”. Some of our schools students and their parents want the book to be removed from our school library shelf because of the horrible things the girl is going through in this book. Unsurprisingly, the society we are bestowed upon is acceptably not perfect. However, a symbiotic world of those who chooses to act with immorality and those who assume it is acceptable is unbearable for god’s eye. In an article “The Dying Girl That No One Helped”, by Loudon Wainwright, he talks about the event of which a girl was stabbed to death with 38 witnesses that did not choose to help her. In the view of Wainwright he states, “We are becoming callous, chickenhearted and immoral people”. (Wainwright) Wainwright, based on the allegory, said that we are callous and immoral because the 38 witness did nothing to help the women.…
