Analysis: The Critical Thinking Activity Which Approach Is Best

Decent Essays
The critical thinking activity Which Approach is Best presents a debate among three college seniors. You see, all three of the students aspire to be quality directors when they graduate from college. Mark Berry has decided the Kaizen approach is the best approach for him. Sandra Griffith on the other hand says her preferred method is the Six Sigma approach. Then there is Juan Carlos who believes if he can create a “master list of improvement strategies (Geotsch & Davis, 2012)” he can just pick the one that fits the situation at that time.

This book does a great job of explaining the different social justice issues that are going on in today’s society that may be swept under the rug. Considering the various options of accomplishing the task, both DMAIC process (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) and DMADV process (define, measure, analyze, design, verify) are both sufficient pathways.
