Respect: Before reading the book The Berenstian Bears- Show Some Respect by Jan Berenstain. The teacher will discuss with the students on respect. The teacher will write on the write board the responses that the children come up with. Once they are done discussing, the teacher will start reading the book. During the story the teacher will asking the students questions on how the berenstain bears are being disrespectful. The teacher will ask the students to state how one should be respectful towards others and the teacher will list the response on the board. Once completing the story, the teacher will put the students into groups of two and have them complete a respect worksheet. After the completing the worksheet there will be a classroom discussion
