On January 20th, 1961 John F. Kennedy was elected the 35th president of the united states. At the time John was the youngest elect ever at just 44 years old. Kennedy was president for just three short years until his assassination on November 22nd 1963. Kennedy is well known for being a handsome, charming man, who always had a smile on his face. But his pretty looks did not make up for his lacking in presidential skill. Many historians do not see Kennedy as a good president, he is infamous for his affair with Marilyn Monroe, and his poor handling of the cuban missile crisis.
