Suffer, Pain, Death: Animal Experimentation Would you like to see innocent animals suffering for you? No right because a lot of animals die and get tested for a lot of things such as for medical reasons, cosmetics products, and other things. For example, people who wear makeup they’re using products that are being tested on animals. They get tortured and suffer when they get tested, animals feel pain just as we humans do. Animal testing/experimentation is not necessary because it leads to suffering and death of millions of animals. Animals can think, feel, and are sensitive creatures just as humans. We are violating the animal rights when they are used in research. Animal testing should not be required to do because many animals die and suffer …show more content…
According to Elisa Allen, on Metro, animals are being killed for cosmetics ( Elisa Allen 1). They are testing many cosmetics products on animals and it kills them sometimes. The article also states that “ It's estimated that millions of animals are killed every year in experiments for everything from drugs to floor cleaners and face creams” (Elisa Allen 1). That's saying that makeup products and things that we use daily are being tested on animals first before we use them and they usually die when they get tested. So basically any type of product that you buy at the stores was probably tested on an innocent animal and this leads that animals can think and feel like …show more content…
According to the article that I read “Almost 11.5 millions of animals were used in experiments across Europe (Cruelty Free International). That’s a lot of animals who were tortured and suffered when being tested and then they end up killing them once they're done with the animal. The vast majority of animal research is testing drugs, and doing basic research and producing genetically modified mice (Cruelty Free International). That means that all animals can think and feel and also they're still experimenting on mice the main animal that they use for experimenting on. It also leads to that animals have rights like us and we're not supposed to disrespect their

Maybe one day technology will have advanced so far as to render animal testing unnecessary, which would be ideal, but that day is simply not today. However we must not be wanton or ruthless in our testing of animals, just as animal test subjects are necessary so are the ethical and moral policies that regulate animal testing. Scientific advancement should never rely on what is blatantly cruel and scientists should always strive to do as little harm or cause as little distress as possible to their test subjects. Animal testing can lead to great advancements in medical technology and it is our job to make sure that we take the comfort and well being of the animals being tested into account. After all, to anthropomorphize for a moment, isn’t that the least we can do for the beings who are helping us treat all the diseases we are susceptible…

For most people there are two scenarios that come to mind when they hear animal testing. The first scenario is that scientist are torturing, neglecting and abusing the animals that are being tested on. The other scenario is that scientist are being ethical, take care of the animals and are creating life-saving medicines. This makes the use of animals in experiments a controversial topic; a topic that isn’t quite black and white when argued. There are different types of animal testing like, medical testing and cosmetic testing; one is more ethical than the other.…

Animal Experimentation is Ridiculous “Chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans, and mice are 98% genetically similar to humans” (Goodall). If most of these animals that are being tested on are genetically related to humans, then what may they be feeling. Humans get sad when they are lonely and go through pain. It is the exact same for those animals sitting in cages wondering when all the pain is going to be over. Animal experimentation is ridiculous, most products tested are never put on the shelves and most products have different effects on humans, there is a large amount of animals being tested on for no reason, and animals are feeling vulnerable every second they are in a cage.…

Monsters We Created - Animal Testing Universally, animal testing has a famous reputation known for things like medicinal production and (mainly) cosmetic purposes; however, while these experiments may make humans look more beautiful and attractive, the animals’ treatment in these experiments looks horribly ugly in comparison. People have disputed the controversy of animal testing for many years, mainly questioning the morals of animal experimentation or trying to justify it. For the most part, advancing into animal testing has shown itself as a great mistake for humanity and continues to cause unnecessary animal suffering.…

In the article, Medical Testing on Animals is Cruel and Unnecessary, PETA said,”Even animals who are covered by the law can be burned, shocked, poisoned, isolated, starved, forcibly restrained, addicted to drugs, and brain-damaged-no procedures or experiments, regardless of how trivial or painful they may be, are prohibited by law.” Animals in experiments are not thought of as living beings that think and feel like we do, they are thought of as lab equipment that can be manipulated and thrown away at any time. Even though laws and welfare acts have been put in place to protect and care for animals being tested on, nothing can stop a scientist from performing a cruel experiment if they say it is in the name of science. Moreover, in the article, Animal Experimentation is Unnecessary, Sarah Rose A. Miller said,”If the animals are in a state of extreme distress from being trapped in tiny cages their whole lives with no stimuli and no room to move around, it can induce their various bodily systems to behave differently.” The animals are kept in filthy, barren cages, are socially deprived, and the only change in their day to day activity is when a scientist comes to take them for a new painful…

Animal testing is the human act of using lively, conscious animals to test products, not caring what the aftermath may be. According to peta.org, more than 100 million animals are slaughtered in U.S. laboratories. Those that have the heart to inflict this type of brutality do this immobilizing them in restraint devices for hours, drilling holes into their skulls having their spinal cords crushed. (peta.org). Other than the physical atrocities that humans are forcing vulnerable animals into, they are also isolated from their own kind, confined to barren cages, and therefore, become severely traumatized.…

Animals such as mice, rabbits, and pigs are used to undergo experiments for human advancement. These living things deserve to live pain free lives just as much as we do. Now days, society can volunteer themselves in clinical drug research for a monetary exchange. With modern science “we can see inside peoples’ brains using imaging machines or test microscopic amounts of new drugs harmlessly on volunteers.” (BUAV.org the campaign to end animal experiments, pg 7) Humans are more willing to volunteer themselves for the money, but also because strict health and safety precautions are put in place for their well-being at all times during the study. Humans can also communicate their side effects and pain occurrence which provides sound and optimal results for future modifications and or dosages. Unfortunately, animals cannot communicate these important factors, which in turn is useless.…
