Topic: Should Teens be Paid Less than Adults?
Answer: Although a lot of people may not agree with my opinion, I believe it is fair to pay teens less than Adults. Most every job requires some sort of experience, whether it’s being able to do simple math, or being able to con people into buying junk they don’t need. Teens fresh into the work force typically don’t have those skills. Bob Battles supports this by stating, “Plus, your average teen doesn’t have the same skills that a worker in, say, their 20’s have.” (Battles pg. 22) Another issue is that teens are restricted by law as to what jobs they can do.
