Paul Corner And The Renovation Rundown
Paul Corner breathed heavily as he installed the finishing touches to their popsicle elevator. “Done,” He barely uttered to his two friends in front of him, Cory Scott and Micah Long.
Paul Corner was a fifth grader, but not just any fifth grader. He had single-handedly, (With the help of his friends,) solved countless mysteries over the summer and the year before. He wasn’t exactly Sherlock Holmes, but he sure could solve a mystery.
“We’re sure to get an A from Mrs. Gim now!” exclaimed Micah.
“Let’s hurry to the science lab.” Ushered Cory. They hurried to the tech room to find Mrs. Gim leaning over her computer, concentrating on an email.
“Well, hello boys!” Mrs. Gim said lightly.
“We’ve just finished our S.T.E.M. project.” Micah informed Mrs. Gim
“Great!” “Place it over there, please.” She asked them.

He gulped. It was 2:45 and he had five minutes to get to the house room. His watch beeped 2:50 just as he reached the room. The meeting was held in the Carmel house room. He reached into his pocket to find his I.D. All the kids were to be given Identification badges that held their name, their picture was their key into the house rooms. He clicked his I.D. up to the scanner and the light blinked green. He opened a door to reveal a room full of bright orange couches and tables. In the corner of the room was the rest of the S.C.R. The entire school was split up into 4 teams or houses. There was Zion, The house that Paul and Barry were in, Sinai, the house that Phoenix, Robin and Cory are in, Carmel, the house that Micah was in and Ararat, the house that Zip was in. Each house had a Student Council Representative or S.C.R. Paul was the S.C.R. for Zion. Phoenix was the S.C.R. for Sinai. Micah was the S.C.R. for Carmel. Zip is the S.C.R. for
