With the expansion of digital gadgets teachers and professors are concerned about the students multitasking during class time, study time and homework time. The article, “You’ll Never Learn!” was written to highlight the issue of multitasking and how it effects the ability to learn. In this article points out four negative outcomes when students multitask which are: (1) assignments take longer to complete; (2) mental fatigue caused by multitasking increases mistakes; (3) impaired or failed memory of the information studied due to attention is being divided; (4) efficiency of memory storage is diminished and the ability to recall important information is impaired.
