How Did Shakespeare Influence Romeo And Juliet

William Shakespeare was a brilliant man of the seventeenth century. He did not attend college, but he went to a grammar school where they pushed Roman literature, history, and Greek literature or mythology on the pupils (William Shakespeare). While it took William Shakespeare a few years to become a man who writes well and is to be believed by those who chose to read his writings. Not only was he a writer of many plays, he was also a great actor. Shakespeare had the privilege of working with one of the most respected acting companies in London, the Lord Chamberlin’s Men (Elizabethan England Life) .It was a unique, yet a pretty amazing opportunity to have the chance to write and act .While acting he began writing some of his most important works. Those works are still being read by students across the United States and other parts of the world. Those works have a great impact educationally today and teach students about tragedy. One of his loyal servants came to him, speaking the word that he seen Juliet. It was not the news Romeo wanted to hear about. The servant had told Romeo that his love has died and had been placed in a tomb. Romeo who does not want to believe that his love is dead, buys a poison and leaves to go see if Juliet is truly dead. Romeo arrives to find his love “dead” and takes a drink of the poison, which kills him instantly. Juliet awakes to find Romeo dead. She cannot take the pain of seeing her love gone and dead, so she grabs a dagger and takes her own life so then can be together forever in the afterlife.
