Chipotle’s interdependence is strong. They perform better as a small group with more people. Interdependence is define as “the process by which a change in one part affects the other parts”. Chipotle faced some issues that posed a threat to the company. One issue was that some of the suppliers did not supply them with 100 percent farm raised food and animals. They were heavily criticized for not living up to the Food With Integrity mission. This is a problem Chipotle definitely needed to fix in order to win costumers over and also gain new ones. It uses compelling images, such as chickens being brought up in small spaces, and incorporates stories of farmers, government officials and victims of the food industry. Food, Inc. exposes the food industry and the audience realizes wealth has become more of a priority than safety. But, the end of the film invokes a sense of hope when the show reveals how the audience can make a difference. On Halloween night from 5:00 pm to closing time, you have the chance to get a burrito, taco, or salad from Chipotle for only three dollars! All you have to do is wear a costume and then add an unnecessary addition to it. An example would be a fairy costume and then add a mustache to your face or a ghost in high heels. The message that they are trying to say, from the costumes, is that Chipotle's food is made with all natural foods that are not processed or added with preservatives, such as how McDonalds, Burger King, and others' food are added with preservatives so that they can last longer. As a former athlete I am always looking for food on the go. I was never a big McDonalds, Burger or Wendy’s person, but two places that I have loved since my first bite are Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A. Both are places that I would eat at on a weekly basis, at minimum. This ended in October 2015. There were two separate outbreaks of the bacteria were investigated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service and public health officials in several states. This past Tuesday, five students of Miami University in Oxford Ohio came into the schools medical center complaining about stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. These five students, along with more unidentified cases tested positive for the Norovirus, which is a common cause of food-borne diseases. Norovirus being the same virus thats been a reported an outbreak at Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc across the United States in the past several months.
