On November 23, I went to see Washington Capitals play against Edmonton Oilers. I chose the event because never had the chance to watch a Hockey game. I have seen other sports like Football, Soccer, Tennis, and etc. These past events have some similarities between the emotions and fans they have. Also, I had a great time attending these games and learn the difference between the sports. I got no permission from nobody, and I decided for myself. The only person I ask is my friend Michael and some friends. However, the things would have trouble was getting permission from other people to be record or photograph without their knowledge. They played at 7 p.m.versusing Edmonton Oilers. The away team is from Canada and belong to the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. Both teams play for National Hockey League. The Washington Capitals where they are members of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference. The people who went to the event with me was my friends Michael, Phil, Sergio, and Andy. It was five males including myself and met before the game to get something to eat since it 's expensive to buy food in the Verizon Center. What we wore was red sweater or shirt, and some of them wore their Capitals jerseys. The main concept by wearing red is supporting the Washington Capitals. Before the game, we were pre-gaming for the main event. It’s mostly common to people who goes the sports events. We had a couple of drinks meaning beer and ate some food. When we got to the Verizon Center and had to line up to get inside. It was packed, and I seen people just talking to each other, not about the game. He came with his family and they contain his wife, daughter of 15 years old, and a son of 13 years old. I asked how often does he come to the games? He answered once a while with his family and trying a way to spend time with them. He is also a lawyer in D.C., and always busy with work. When he has time, he watches them on the television. During the game, the caps were taking shots after shots. Both teams were going at it, and fans getting up from seats thinking it’s about to be a goal. The defense from both teams were tired and figuring out a way to turn it around. The atmosphere around the stadium was a high energy cheering the fans. Around me, I’ve seen people drinking beers, and having a great time with their friends, coworkers, and family. The smiles and laughter amongst them were priceless to
