Vlad the Impaler and H H Holmes had the same tactics but were not the same person. Vlad the Impaler was someone who impaled people, and H H Holmes was someone who was a thief, committed a bunch of frauds, and he was also a murderer. The reasons that I think Vlad the Impaler and H H Holmes had the same tactics but were not the same person is because Vlad the Impaler had a dark childhood but H H Holmes was a privileged child and was very intelligent, Vlad the Impaler impaled people while H H Holmes committed a bunch of crimes and murdered people, and finally Vlad the Impaler was ambushed and put to death, but H H Holmes was hung and his hanging was planned out. The first reason someone may think that Vlad the Impaler and H H Holmes had the …show more content…
Vlad was someone who impaled people simply because he thought that it scared them. Which, of course it scared them, who would wanna get impaled for fun? He also used impalement as a way to show people not to mess with him. He looked at it as a way of punishment if someone did him wrong, in fact that isn’t all. He also punished innocent people that he believed he didn’t even like. Many believe that the story Dracula was based on Vlad because rumors had it that he even drank human blood. Another rumor has it that Vlad liked to dine and drink on the blood from his impaled victims, and in fact many people thought that was actually the reasoning behind him impaling anyone, after the rumor got started of course. Another rumor is that Vlad liked to wash his hands in the blood of his victims as well. That is still pretty gross. Washing your hands in human blood and drinking human blood are definitely two different things, but still both gross. H H Holmes committed a bunch of crimes and then murdered people. Holmes began his life with a bunch of different crimes. Those crimes were those of various frauds and scams. He was a medical student of the University of Michigan and he stole dead corpses which he used to help him make false …show more content…
They themselves could have stopped before it all got out of hand, actually they shouldn’t have needed to stop because they shouldn’t have started doing any of these horrible things to these innocent people at all. But, they were almost the same person due to their tactics, but they were also actually quite

Although Dracula is a thousands of years old vampire and Victor’s creation was merely born when he awoke, both monsters are the main part of their perspective stories. This novel is so invested in the strength and power of the Christian salvation, which at times it reads as a propagandistic Christian promise of salvation. In the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, one of the major themes is Christianity, the actions taken by the characters in the novel are similar to many Christian Traditions and are often distorted into the original vampire story. Practically as old as religion, Dracula depicts a satanic figure in the novel, not just physically (pointed ears, fangs and flaming eyes), but also in his ingestion of blood. Blood is a vital characteristic of this novel, the importance of blood in Christian mythology is that Jesus shed his blood to save us from our sins and open the doors of heaven, therefore it…

Vampires have changed over the years and the depictions of vampires through the years give us an idea about the anxieties of that time period, the way the people viewed the pressing issues of that time period. I am going to discuss the similarities and the differences between Bram stoker’s Dracula and the film Nosferatu. Dracula was portrayed as a tall old man with a white moustache who appeared to be a human and he had a charm about him normally associated with aristocrats whereas in the film Nosferatu, Count Orlok’s appearance is nightmarish and closer to that of a monster than of a human. He is shown to have misshapen eyebrows, huge pointed ears, long claws which are sharp for nails, walks around in an abnormal way and does not have any of the charm of Dracula. While Count Dracula has shape shifting abilities where he can transform into a wolf, dog and a bat, Count Orlok does not transform or change into anything.…
