Viridian Inc.: 360 Painting, Albuquerque Branch
In the August of 2015, painting franchise 360 Painting welcomed their New Mexico branch, Viridian Inc. to the company. The buyers of this branch were my parents, Chris and Teresa Scott. Before buying into the franchise, my mother had worked as a local decorative painter for fifteen years prior as a side job; meanwhile, my father managed a retail store. He had always wanted to own his own company, but wasn’t sure what kind of business he wanted to run. After doing plenty of research into franchises, my parents talked and decided to become a full-time painting business. A year later, their business is still booming and they’re still working hard to remain successful.
Although Viridian Inc. has only been around for a little over a year, the advertising provided by their franchise, 360 painting, as well as my mother’s previous experience as a decorative painter, their business has been very busy. Specifically, with residential jobs. So much so that even with working two to three jobs a week, they still have

with a certain style of painting. This is because they pretty much do a wide variety of just about anything. From venetian plaster, to stone brick, to flowers, to many different styles of children’s rooms, Viridian Inc. has done it all. But what exactly is it that allows them to be so diverse in their painting styles? Well, besides my mother’s own painting experience, my parents are what’s known as painting contractors. This means that they hire a variety of professional painters to work alongside them. They get to learn what other painters excel at or their specific style of painting. After that, my parents keep in close contact with these painters and call them up when their skills are needed. In addition, they also have a constant, highly skilled crew that who is ready to cooperate at almost any job. Because of a wide range of employees, Viridian Inc. can “cover all
