Virgil’s epic poem “Aeneid” arises during the start of Augustan age mainly focus on the future of Rome and what it is now known to be. The Pax Romana, or "Roman Peace" is roughly a two hundred year period of peace, established by Octavian Augustus (Wilson). Octavian being the leader of the Roman Empire promotes the people of Rome that their fate was to fulfill greatness and he did it in one way by creating the Roman Peace. Being a corruption society the people of Rome would have want peace and Octavian purpose was for them to visit the Pax Romana and be reminded of their destiny and to just to move on from their past.
