“What’s the difference between a service and a business?”, Bob Kilinski begins his speech with a question to help the audience visual the separation of the two. He answers simply “A service is something you have to provide while business has a life of its own.” This response was given to help conceptualize a business as its own entity separate from himself. he wanted everyone to understand that the service he provides to his business and the business itself our separate. He asks the audience, “what do you think the most important step is in order to turn your self-employed service into a business.” Many people answer simple things such as capital, or a staff. He explains that mindset, commitment, and focus are the number one key to starting and following the path. They all three go hand in hand as you cannot have one without the other or the overall focus becomes blurred. Bob also believes that in order to accomplish this one must attend classes, and hang out with successful individuals. The next step he goes on to explain is creating a working economic model.
