The Golden Rule

The Title of the book I read, namely “There’s No Such Thing as ‘Business’ Ethics”, has been written by “John C Maxwell”. It was published at Center Street on August 12, 2003 and consisted of 160 pages in number. The unusual facts about the book and the author are that he is a leadership expert and has described that there is only one rule for everyone, whether there are differences in opinions. At first, I thought that the author describes no role for ethics in business. But after reading Maxwell’s quotes such as “There’s only one rule for making decisions”, I felt going through it as a must read.

The Golden Rule proves to be the guideline for the author as well, but there should be supplementary structures of the rule otherwise it will be difficult to execute the rule successfully in one’s life. In this book, the author has showed keen interest in real precedence of people and giving significance to family norms for mostly. The Golden Rule is only applicable for normal behaviors. Once for all, this book describes the whole you and your behaviors. It is meant just for the reader, concentrates the reader directly and drives the reader to improve his or her ethical norms and make good decisions in the hereafter. It has not been mentioned that it is some sort of a logical research or not, it does not need to mention about any law making or no need to involve the government in. the author wants the reader to ethically improve his or her behavior and always be ethical.
