Previously I have talked about the privacy of people compromised by use of technology but in this part I looked for article about technology, which created negative health effect on people and violated their human right. According to a report, “Dell Suppliers in China work for up to 74 hours a week amid health risks, for as little as 66p an hour”. The products made at those companies were used in different parts of the world. Working 3o days a month with 8 hour of working days, with another 2.5 hours of overtime daily obviously violated the human right of the worker. In the working time, a worker can’t sit; he/she is required standing for the whole time of working hour. If an employee wants to go the bathroom, they can’t leave the workstation unless a substitute fills the position at that station. If the employee took more designated minute of break, then the group leader or manager verbally abused them. The employer Pegraton, Minshuo’s parent company have student worker too. As it says in the article “The student intern wages are distributed in the same way as other workers ' wages. Student workers usually work 10.5 hours a day, 6 to 7 days a week”. Due to this kind of policies set up by the companies, it harms many employees including students.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was designed for the right of each and individual. It also explained that human beings have equal right. Everyone is governed by same set of laws in terms of safeguarding of human rights. Thus in this way expansion of technology in todays world is benefiting world in one-way on the other hand it is also violating peoples privacy and also violating the human
