Wear Your “True Colors”!

Ever wonder what the definition of “true colors” are? Most people would think of a color wheel and how different hues blend together to create radiant colors. There are many different ideas that come to mind when speaking of color. Whether it may be the different sensations of the eye from the reflection of light, how a person’s character is perceived by another, or in other cases it can be used in a metaphorical sense. Artist use these albums cover to relay a message to someone about what could be found within the album, it’s not likely that you would find a dark or evil cover for something with faint peaceful music. Some people said they saw an explosion of color. Yet, I believe this is the artist’s rendition of something growing into something beautiful showing its “true colors,” it’s true beauty and purpose in life. This is also found in the songs that are on the record such as “Beautiful Now” and “True Colors”. These songs on the album to give off an encouraging dance dance vibe which is upbeat and full of rhythm. Dance dance music or other known as electric pop music is a popular style of music that originated in the 1950’s and 1960’s as a faint substitute for rock and roll. The songs on this album make you think of a song that empowers us or an upbeat song for a day at the beach. At the same time, it may make one think of a break up or the memory of a departed loved one. This side is shown by the songs such as “Done with love” and “Addicted to a Memory”. These songs are still upbeat but not as fast as the other, the lyrics give off a mournful feel. Although the two feels are clearly displayed in the songs it is not clear on the …show more content…
But if I knew nothing of the producer and run across the album in a record store, it would have catch my eye with the colorful art. Hearing the dance dance or electric pop music would not have taking me by surprise. But not because of the art work displayed in the middle because of the font the artist chooses to write his name. But if I were to obtain this album occupying to the cover, I would be happy customer, I would be able to receive the message that had been hidden in the rhythm, lyrics and art. I could be able to find meaning in the records cover and the music, and I could be able to construct my own point of view. So whether it 's dealing with the real arrangement of colors on the color wheel, if it may be the way a person has persevered another’s personality, or true intentions, there are various ways this album cover expresses the emotions behind it.
