The Third Time is the Charm History is the story of humanity. This story has forever been in a cycle that includes war and violence. The cycle of humanity is different all over the world. Some countries have been at war for a long time and others alternate between war and peace. People strive for peace, but there is always somebody who tries to disrupt it. Disruptors of peace are called terrorists. They instill fear and terror in people and cause a fight or flight reaction. To protect the people, a group of leaders were banded together to create the United Nations. This council promotes peace and fights against terrorism. Even though this group unites leaders of multiple nations, it does not unite the people in the nations. History is known to repeat itself. They want to annihilate a sect of people so they can have their perfect utopia. Most people think that they are only persecuting Christians, and that is not true. They have killed Sunni Muslims, Shiites, and even Americans (Moore). How can you kill your own race? ISIS not only wants to prove a point, but they want to serve their god Allah to the fullest. Hitler did unthinkable things in those concentration camps. He did not just kill the Jews or the unclean. He starved, worked, and experimented on them. What the Jews had to live through was agonizing. ISIS is not nice either, they record killings and post it on the World Wide Web so little kids can see it. That alone shows how they view themselves and how much pride they have in terrorizing the world. In addition, ISIS has videotaped beheading people, setting them on fire, and drowning them.
