The Power Of Vilgoth Is Necessary?

SStepping out of the carriage, both men stretched, hoping that particular action would alleviate their aching muscles, a direct result from their jarring ride, and said their goodnights, although almost daylight, to go their separate ways. Entering the manor, Nightburn hurried to the north wing library, opened the door, and went directly to the bookcase, easily finding the book and opening it to the page, read the passage aloud, “The power of Vilgoth is necessary. Destroy all those who would oppose Vilgoth’s will.” The bookcase opened as a result and he stepped into the passage leading to the portal below, making certain to close the panel behind and running down the stairs to step into the luminous central portal and out at the military …show more content…
Nightburn quickly found Sir Seth, who was both surprised and elated by his sudden appearance, inspiring his hope that he’d seen the last of the quotidian tasks of rebuilding the military installation, immediately greeted him with a most enthusiastic handshake.
“Lord Nightburn, how glad I am to see you. Please take a seat,” clapping his hands, signaling the servant to bring food to the table and motioning for him to take the seat at the head of the table. He directed the Professor to the chair next to Nightburn, and he took the lone open seat across from him, the remaining seats already occupied by his officers. His enthusiasm seeping into his questions, “How did the meeting go? Are we going to war, my lord?”
“Yes, we are with more than two-thirds of the Order agreeing to go to war, although, I have my suspicions that some who agreed to my proposal, have reservations with their participation in such an ordeal. Still, we are going to war nonetheless, and I need to know if you and your men are ready if I give the order.”
“Yes, my lord. We have gathered those that you

“This is not the news I was hoping for, Sara. Do you have any good news for me?” It was clear to Sara that her report caused him distress.
“I’m sorry, my lord, but that is all the information I have.” Uneasy, she couldn’t wait to be dismissed since she didn’t like the negative feelings emitting from him.
“You may leave and go back to your duties.” Nightburn, replied brusquely and Sara did not need to be told twice to leave, and with a courteous bow, she left. He got up from his chair and walked over to the table, staring at the map of Heczar. Frustrated by the news she had given, he paced back and forth, aware that his surprise attack, now seemed highly unlikely. Another knock to his door but this time, a welcomed interruption since it was Ject who had planned to send for shortly and whatever reason Ject had for his visit, now superseded by his orders to summon all the members of the Order to the throne room. After several hours, most of the members, Ject informed, had nervously gathered in the

Henry begins this type of appeal when he refers to the authority of God when describing him as “the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.” By referring to God’s authority, Henry tries to convince his audience that separation from Britain is right, almost a mandate of heaven. Additionally, Henry juxtaposes the words “heaven” and “earthly” to relegate the power of the British monarch and depict him as insignificant when compared to the might of God. Henry is successful in establishing this ethos appeal because of the strong religious background of the colonists who as a result are willing to fight in God’s name. To reaffirm his prior argument, Henry claims that “There is a just god who presides over us … and will raise up friends to fight our battles for us.”…
