Pont Of A Professor Analysis

In reading the article “What is the Pont of a Professor” I feel like the comments the author made about professors just handing out A’s is not true. In my opinion the statistic the author made in the second paragraph is evaluated very incorrectly to make his article look well back up with sources. The author claims in 1960 the percent of “A’s” were in 15 percent range and currently in our time frame the “A’s” range is in the 43 percent range. Back then in the 1960 it wasn’t common for people to go to college. Only the high elite with money could be able to because they could afford to go to college. So that why I believe the 15 percent of “A’s” were so low because only a handful of people could go to college. Now in our time frame anyone could go to college. People can be the poorest to the riches and be able to go to school. There are so many opportunities people can take advantage of like federal aid, scholarships, grants, and …show more content…
Me being a college student for already two years I already figured out the ropes on how to educate myself and be successful in college. First I got to make sure professors know how to definitely keep their students engage in the classroom and definitely know how to teach their material very well. The second one is that I make sure that I don’t get a push over professor who is in it just for the money and not care if their students learn anything within their class. If students follow these steps, also make no excuses in attending college/classes, and the key component is staying on top of your studies and applying yourself one hundred percent in your studies. Of course the “A’s” percentage is going to increase and students in college are finally figuring out how to survive college. It’s not the professors handing out just “A’s” were finally figuring out how the system works and how we learn in this
