Monument of Umbrella Revolution is an architecture to remind the event Umbrella Revolution held in year2014. The overall look of the architecture is a shape of an umbrella. The main structure of Monument of Umbrella Revolution is made up of a hollowed semi ball and a supporting column, which form an umbrella shape. The column is the combination of Atlantid and Caryatid, which is a column with four faces. There is also carving of stories and repeated windows on the semi ball. Also, there are some carvings of ribbons on the floor of steps. With a shape of an umbrella, it is spotted especially from Hong Kong because umbrella revolution is a world-known politically movement in Hong Kong.

Windows here is to represent bringing light and hope to the city. There are eighty-one windows in total for representing the number of days in umbrella revolution. Window allows natural light to get through. It means every single day in the Umbrella Revolution gave light to the society. That is each day in the Umbrella Revolution moved people one step forward to success. The light gets through the window and onto the column of people. It is to show every day in Umbrella Revolution gave light and hope to the people to supporting the revolution, and the success of revolution on each day gave strength for the people to keep on faith. Number of ribbons from the outside to the inside is nine, two and six respectively. The number here represents the date of Umbrella Revolution, which is 26th September.
