Windows here is to represent bringing light and hope to the city. There are eighty-one windows in total for representing the number of days in umbrella revolution. Window allows natural light to get through. It means every single day in the Umbrella Revolution gave light to the society. That is each day in the Umbrella Revolution moved people one step forward to success. The light gets through the window and onto the column of people. It is to show every day in Umbrella Revolution gave light and hope to the people to supporting the revolution, and the success of revolution on each day gave strength for the people to keep on faith. It is to show the architecture is serious and essential. The people suggested by the Atlantid and Caryatid is on a higher level that is to show they should be respected because of their strength and bravery in supporting Umbrella Revolution. Three implied circles of carving of ribbons are placed on the floor. Ribbon is another icon in Umbrella Revolution because people wore yellow ribbons to show their support during Umbrella Revolution. Number of ribbons from the outside to the inside is nine, two and six respectively. The number here represents the date of Umbrella Revolution, which is 26th September.
