The world sees Rafe as nothing more than his label and his sexuality. They only see him as a boy who came out the closet. Even when he tries to be a normal person his peers still find ways to label him. If I was put in Rafe shoes and I would have stayed true to myself and wouldn’t have tried to change myself. I say this because I believe no matter who or what you are people will judge you till the day you die. So why not be yourself, but that's what I would do if I was put in Rafe shoes during his central conflict. I would have also tried to find help through friends, family, etc. if it got to a point where stuff got too difficult for Rafe to handle. In all, I and Rafe would have resolved the conflict similar way and we more likely would have got the same results to the
