My thesis statement for the last paper is how does the inclusion of recipes and the emphasis on food tease out the themes of the novel Like Water for Chocolate? I will start by getting examples from chopping up the book into three sections. The first section will consist of using chapter one and chapter three. The second section I will be using examples from chapter seven and chapter eight. I will be ending the last section using chapters ten and twelve. Lastly, I will use my conclusion to further prove my argument. I will be using examples from each section proving the sensuality of the food teasing out the themes of the novel Like Water for Chocolate starting at the beginning.
