Analysis Of The Novel 'Disclaimer' By Renee Knight

Decent Essays
The novel “Disclaimer,” by Renee Knight, is an extremely well written novel that really draws the reader in more and more as they progress through the novel. The novel is about a woman, who is a writer, herself. She finds this novel on her night table, but the twist being that neither she, nor her husband placed it there. It just mysteriously appeared out of nowhere. The main character can’t help but pick up the novel, once she does; she realizes that the novel is about her, more specifically, her past. This is a part of her life that she doesn’t want her family knowing about because it would easily tear them apart.
