Zoe is a normal teenager that attends high school in the big city of New York. She talks and acts like a regular New Yorker. Zoe connection with others is amazing to observe. During school hours Zoe spends the majority of her time in her classroom whether she has class or after school office hours. She is always with her friends. The majority of her friends are in the 10th grade and are taking the same classes as herself. Her group of friends are considered to be the “popular girls”. Her and her friends may come across as very funny, dramatic, entertaining and they love to be center of attention. In her AVID class she sits with one of her girlfriends and they are always talking about their hair, eyebrows, nail and clothes and etc.

Zoe is always in good spirit when she enters the school building. When she moves around with her group of friends she is fairly quiet compared to the other girls in her clique. She is extremely helpfull with

She gives her teachers and other staff members at the school a level of respect. She comes from a cultural background where respecting her elders is key and it is a pricinpal that is instilled from birth. Zoe always ask her teachers for help for any material she does not understand given to her in class. She is attentive with her grades always conversing with her teachers on how she is progressing in class. Zoe gets a long with the majority of her teachers expect for her Earth Science teacher. She is having a very tough time connecting with her Earth Science teacher mainly because she is not doing well in that class in addition to her not being able to adapt to the teacher who is moderately new to the school and department. Zoe respects and has a very good connection with me. Upon entering class she always greets me and calls me Ms. Jerome. We converse about school and how her week is going thus far. She feels comfortable to come ask me for help with any subject she is having trouble
