The movie “The Hunger Games” is a science fiction movie which is filmed very well from my opinion. The movie is a 2014 American movie about war. The director of the movie is Francis Lawrence.
The film continues to follow the main character Katniss Everdeen who is the person who have twice survived “The Hunger Games”. Subsequently Everdeen finds herself in District 13.
During the leadership of President Coin, who is also an important character in the movie and the advice of her trustworthy friends. Prior to that Everdeen becomes the symbol of a mass rebellion war against the “capitol” and fights to save Peeta who is one of the main characters too and a nation by her courage to fight with her. She is “the face of the revolution”.

Do you know that according to Quora, it takes the average person 5 hours to read a book that has 300 pages, but the Hunger Games movie is only 2 hours and 22 minutes. This shows how the Hunger Games book is more powerful than the Hunger Games movie. The story is about a girl named Katniss who volunteers as tribute for the 74th annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a game where there are 24 tributes (two from each each of the 12 districts, a boy and a girl) and they fight to the death until there is one person left which is the victor. The written story Hunger Games was better than the movie Hunger Games because you can picture the scene in your head and there is more detail in the written story.…

Have you ever thought about how directors and producers take a powerful book such as The Hunger Games, and don’t make the movie version of it as powerful? Well, this is exactly what happened in the film directed by Gary Ross. The Hunger Games are a 24 free for all survival game, with the last man or woman standing wins. With the contestants being chosen by a card in a bowl, two participants from all 12 districts will be taken to the capitol and will prepare for the games ahead. Between the book and the movie of The Hunger Games, the book is more powerful because it has more feeling, mood, and description.…

In The Hunger Games book and movie, Katniss’s character develops very differently. In the book, Katniss’s character’s emotions are better conveyed than in the movie since the book is in Katniss’s point of view and contains more details. In the movie, Katniss’s character’s conflicting feelings and action contradict the book’s writings since they do not follow the same format. The inconsistent portrayal of Katniss’s character made it more difficult to find the theme of The Hunger Games. If the audience were to read the book versus watch the movie of The Hunger Games, they would find that Katniss’s character reactions and interactions were completely different than those of the book and would find it more difficult to find the theme of the story.…

When The Hunger Game: Mockingjay Part Two opens November 20, 2015, I, like many of my peers, hope to witness Katniss Everdeen’s final defiance against the Capitol. Her passion is infectious, partially because her desire to cure the injustice in a dysfunctional world intrigues me. Similarly, social change has been evoked by using dystopian societies to present an overly negative view of the world; Kurt Vonnegut’s short story “ˆHarrison Bergeron” is no exception. In both the short story and the film adaptation, the authors use Harrison’s demise to illustrate how total equality is not the panacea expected.…

The Hunger Game is one of the most popular young adult novel series rivaling Harry Potter and Twilight. As the first of its film adaptations was just released in March 2012, readers and audiences have been pleasantly surprised at this fresh, dynamic, young female protagonist. The Hunger Games are an "entertainment" tool for the Capitol (the fictional country of Panem 's government), and a device used as a punishment to the work-force population mainly inhabiting the 12 Districts of Panem, reminding all of the people of the grand rebellion that all Districts some time ago led against the Capitol, and lost the fight, resulting in the loss of District 13. The Hunger Games film captures much of the main story – but there are still numerous differences…

Katniss Everdeen is the central protagonist in The Hunger Games trilogy set in a post-apocalyptic America with a totalitarian government similar to The Obsolete Man and Brave New World. Each district (similar concept to states - each has its own boundaries and is overall controlled by the government, in this case “The Capital”) holds an annual reaping to determine a male and female competitor in their “Hunger Games.” Katniss is picked and inevitably turns her fear of the government into leading a rebellion to overthrow the corruption. The story is similar to “The Obsolete Man” because both protagonists are low-status citizens (Wordsworth is an obsolete librarian and Katniss is from the poorest district). Also, they both have their pivotal rebellious moments screened on the television for all of society to see; Wordsworth reveals that the Chancellor will die while Katniss reveals that her dress resembles her rebellious symbol of the mockingjay in the second movie Catching Fire.…
