Seven minutes past midnight, Christopher Boone found his neighbor, Mrs. Shear’s dog, Wellington, lying dead her yard. Christopher begin to approach the dog to to sooner find that their was a fork in Wellington. Christopher immediately asked himself who possible could have killed Mrs. Shear’s dog. After minutes of hugging Wellington, Mrs. Shear’s came running out the house screaming at Christopher. This was the beginning of Christopher’s mystery novel. Mrs. Shear’s called the police on Christopher and he eventually had to spend a few hours in a jail cell. Once Christopher 's dad makes it to the police station, he asks him not to ask any more questions about Wellington 's death. With that being said, he was going to do his best to keep on doing detective work to find out who killed Wellington, without disobeying his father. So, Christopher continues the investigation by asking his neighbors if they knew any information about Wellington. To Christopher 's knowledge, his mother had passed away due to a heart attack. He was unable to see her while she was in the hospital, and he also didn’t get to go to her funeral. However, during his investigation with his neighbors, Christopher discovered that his mother was having an affair with Mr. Shears. Christopher was taken back by this information. His father eventually comes home from work one day and finds Christopher 's mystery novel in the kitchen, which he takes away. This upsets Christopher 's father, because he very…
