It had been while since I been to Ohlone college. I am surprised to see there are huge changes. Four story parking lot with many construction still in the progress. I was lost for good 15 minutes before I met someone who was there to watch the same show. I never been to smith center and never watched any live theater show before. To tell the truth I just found out about the popularity about this show after I got there, show was full house. I fell silly a the same time because when I talked with someone I met there I found out that this show is based on the book written by … and there is a movie on that too. Actually I am glad as I got t watch the real performance first. I enjoyed it so much that after coming home I checked online for upcoming theater shows at Ohlone. Today before writing this blog I watched movie version of “ One flew over the cuckoo nest” and I must say watching the live theater performance is better than watching movies.
To briefly summarize- show started with the narration of Native American who pretends to be dumb and deaf so other people will ignore him. His is a man with bulky body but he thinks himself a looser. The story starts with the new admitted patients named with Randle McMurphy. McMurphy is full of life. He is smart, intelligent and believes that live is short so enjoy as more as you can.
