“Awakenings”
By: Oliver Sacks The awakening is based on a true story. A movie nominated 3 academy awards and considered as a box office movie that had reached approximately $52 million in their earnings. It is full of drama that can touch the heart of every person that will watch this kind of story, a story that is filled with hopes, joy, laughter, and most especially love. This is also a good example of a person that truly cares for others and a person that would do anything just to help them, without even considering what the effect it may cause and what he / she has to bargain. A story released on the 22 of December 1990 directed by Penny Marshall. Doctor Sayer, a neurologist, applied at the Bronx hospital to take care of catatonic patients. But it is so new to him because he was just examining worms before and he is not so good at handling people. You will learn not to waste any more of your time. That you should always say I love you to your family in every minute possible, because we never know when they will depart from this world or what tragedy will befall upon them and the only thing that is left for you is regret. That regret will haunt you for the rest of your life. Let the people realize how important time is and also how important it is to show to one another that you care. You care for others and do not be greedy with what you have and learn to share. Sharing laughter, joy, and especially sharing your blessings to others.
