The interesting thing about this is that Andy Weir didn’t have to think at all to write down the lines of Mark Watney, because he says that he wrote the things he would say, because he’s just like Watney. Andy Weir was very smart with adding humor into the book. It makes it more interesting, and readers will just absolutely love the characters. The author also chose a very good setting to write a book with suspense, because on Mars, anything could happen. With NASA planning to colonize Mars, maybe it’s not that bad of an idea to learn how to live on
