If had a picture taped to your wall that you couldn’t do something how would that make you feel? What if 49 people told you, you couldn’t do this particular thing and you had each of their quotes doubting you on your wall? Does that make you stronger or does that give you the realization that maybe this particular thing you’re doing is not for you. The Los Angeles Clippers have been the laughing stock of professional sports for over 40 years. They have made the playoffs 11 times in their 44 years as a franchise. Does it get worse for them? Everyone at the Staples Center that night knew the real main sporting event was here in L.A. I decided to pay homage that night and wore my classic San Diego Clippers customized JJ Reddick jersey, with Blake Griffin’s own personalized Jordan 1’s that are made in red and black. Jordan wore her DeAndre Jordan jersey with some Clipper sweat pants. I even had a beanie with the clipper’s on (that’s saying a lot since I usually wear my hair in an afro). We head over back to the Staples’ and were meet with a sea of red and blue fans, all of who were as happy as could be. When walking through the Staples, they play the instrumental of “Trophies by Drake” and by the time that night was over, I fell in love with that song even if they played it every time someone on the Clippers made a bucket. Chris Paul went to go sit at the bench and everyone was silent over 19,588 …show more content…
At one point the guy sitting behind me tapped me and Jordan on the back and said “Damn can you believe we are watching this live”. The interesting thing about important basketball games is your stars don’t win you those games, the supporting cast does. With 2:12 left in the fourth quarter, Matt Barnes hits a three-pointer to tie the game at 105-105, Jordan hugged some lady she never met before in her life and the woman kissed her on the check. At 109-109 with 4 seconds left on the clock Chris Paul hits a one legged shot to win the game. I don’t really get too wild, but I was screaming so loud, and usher asked me if I needed a taxi to take me (that means young lady you seem drunk, should we call a taxi to make sure you don’t drive home). That was game and the Clippers won that

The great debate of the NBA in the 1960s centered around two men who revolutionized the game of basketball in their own contrasting and unique ways. The Chicago Bulls handled their business (barely) against the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night. The undermanned Cavs weren’t able to overcome being without three of their starters against Chicago, eventually falling to the Bulls 106-94 in Quicken Loans Arena. The loss snapped Cleveland’s nine-game winning streak at The Q. “I had a lot of combinations out there that guys were not used to playing with, but I just thought we competed,” Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue said. “We played hard and we just kept fighting.”…

At some point in every person's life, they will have a special experience that will stick with them forever. One of my most memorable moments happened recently at a home volleyball game against Traverse City West. Approaching freshman volleyball season, the upperclassman spoke highly of the importance of overpowering TC West. As a ninth grader, I had the mindset that I would be playing for the freshmen team. I didn't think it really mattered what the outcome of the game would be, since we were only ninth graders.…
