This article illustrates the Library of Birmingham which is one of the landmarks of Birmingham. The Library of Birmingham is called as a 'people 's palace ' by its architect Francine Houben. This report will be divided into 6 parts to explain how successful it is.
For the purposes of this paper we focus on how the library adapt to today 's daily life, not only design, but also features. In the last few years there has been a growing interest in searching the information on the Internet instead of going to the libraries. Therefore, why this library still so popular and useful is the reason why it is successful.
