50 Days Of Fasting Research Paper

It was April 20th, 2016; Good Friday. A day where all Christians sit and ponder about what Christ did for us. As a family after the 40 days of Fasting, we too sat down to ponder on things we meditated on. Before starting the Lent Days of Fasting we usually write down a list of things of do's and don'ts and what as a family we want God to do for us. We also have our own individual list which we meditate in our quite times. It has been a norm in our family for the past 22years and has never missed these 40days of Fasting. We dedicate these days only for God and have seen the hand of God works in our lives. Many of the listed things that we have fasted about for a breakthrough have been successfully accomplished. But there was this one single thing which has been eating into our lives and we were not seeing a breakthrough. And that was our finances. We always were in loans and debts and this has led to many a times rifts and disturbances in the family. Whatever we tried to do, we were dragged down into the same situation year after year. If we wait upon the Lord patiently, He will turn our mourning into dancing. We are all part of God's plan. The relocation of Naomi from Famine to harvest was a time frame in which God was putting the puzzles together for a picturesque to the Birth of Christ. The MATCHMAKER saw the favor of God in her life. God filled her bosom with a grandson whom she called her own son and nursed him as her own. This matchmaker had been faithful even while living among the pagan Moabites. She used the opportunity that God gave her by matching up Ruth with Boaz intelligently. She used God's wisdom by sending Ruth to glean the fields of Boaz and slowly got her connected into a holy matrimony. Her example of faithfulness had an impact on a story that today we are able to say 'OUR Redeemer'
