The lack of understanding that circulates the reasoning behind the cause of people becoming serial killers has forced people into believing false theories such as the assumption that all serial killers are loners, are afflicted by a mental disorder, and secretly want to be caught. The causality is known to be a combination of environmental, biological, and psychological factors, but even with all of those present the fate of every individual rests at said individual’s hands.
