In the article “The Girl Who Lived Forever,” by Kristin Lewis, it talks about Anne Frank's life during the Holocaust. Anne Frank was optimistic. First off, Frank had tried to be as funny as she could when she was in the annex. The article states, “She recorded in sharp and often funny detail everything that went on” (Lewis 9). This shows how Anne Frank is optimistic because she was trying to make her diary fun, so that when someone would read it they wouldn’t get bored, and neither herself when writing it. Also, Frank had dreams that she wanted to fulfill, and she tried to in the annex.
