Analysis Of The Four Corner Report

Improved Essays
The four corners report is aimed at the adult population as it contains a lot of substance and is not produced purely for entertainment. It is a lot drier than the stories you would see on a commercial TV channel. Viewers of this program would watch it in order to educate themselves about the Church of Scientology and their practices. Viewers would need to be fairly educated in order for them to be able to follow along with the story being present to them due to it’s dry nature. The Ex Files Four Corners report was aired on the ABC. The ABC is a government funded channel and their purpose is to inform the view rather than to entertain.

Reading Stacy Lee’s article was very eye opening to me. Being a minority myself, I was no stranger to many of the things she spoke about. The biggest thing I took away from the article was the idea of being categorized and boxed in; separated on different levels with whites being at the top of the scale and everyone else falls below that; some lower than others but always lesser than whites. Based on how you look, people will assume different things about you and that all originates from back in the day when slavery came into the picture. The idea of a better and/or best race came from there and even though slavery is officially no more, the idea of a better race still lives on through media.…

Individual Analysis: ACCJC Background Reviewing recent reports surrounding the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) reveals that there are many issues that have been proposed in regard to the efficiency and efficacy of their accreditation processes (CITE). For this reason, many feel that the ACCJC is not meeting their obligation to maintain institutional quality. In the following sections, I will discuss what issues specifically the ACCJC is having in terms of maintenance of institutional quality and what recommendations have been suggested for the commission to improve it’s accreditation processes. These recommendations were derived—in some cases—by comparing the ACCJC to other accrediting commissions and modeling…

Two of my strength’s that were identified on the CSI report were family emotional support and sociability. Both of those come to me as no surprise. The support that my family provides me is astronomical. They gave everything they had to send me to a private Jesuit high school, and now my brother and soon my sister. The love they have expressed in that action alone doesn’t even scratch the surface of what they have done for us.…

My first step to implementing a Tier 2 Intervention would be deciding which students need the extra help. From there I would create an individualized Check-In-Check-Out sheet for each student. After I have completed their sheets I would find the time to pull the student to the side to explain how the Check-In-Check-Out sheet works. An important part to remember is to check to see if the student understands what you are saying. This can be done by asking the student questions and getting them to answer them.…

Christopher Mackay, modern historian, has written a large number of works regarding the Roman republic, including 'Ancient Rome: A military and political history', and the 'Breakdown of the Roman republic', whilst managing to depict the collapse of the republic. Whilst he covers events that happened thousands of years ago, with his works being published in the 2000's, his works can still be highly regarded, due to his reputable education, studying at University of Michigan and Harvard university. Mackay views the first triumvirate as 'incorrect and misleading', giving the audience an insight into lack of unity, in which the title suggests. Unlike ancient historians, such as Plutarch and Suetonius who merely tell the story of the First Triumvirate,…

Not to mention that the food is delicious and your favorite show is on. Overall, a pretty nice night for you and your family, right? That is, until the current channel runs the commercials and an advertisement for donations to a domestic abuse shelter appears on the screen, women describing their hardships in far too much detail to be comfortable.…
