In the film “Merchants of Cool” a study of teenagers and what they believe is cool from their economic, social, cultural, political, and environmental point of view. This paper will explore the sociological part of the Merchants of Cool movie. Because this film is all about everyday human sociology as it features the true essence of the largest population which is that of teenagers. This paper is going to be an analysis of social interaction and social structure, sex and gender, marriage and family, and culture. Social structure and social interactions for teens form a huge social structure that can only be considered by what they do, what they wear, eat, own and watch.
