I watched Fatal Attraction with a friend and I said to him "that's what you get when you just want some fun for the weekend". Although going with Alex was a decision Dan made it was very unfortunate that the woman he had an affair with was extremly crazy. I doubt that Alex got pregnen, if she was obssesed with Dan she could have made everything up. I don't belive Dan seen as a hero at the end of the movie because it has his wife the one that had the last shot, literally in the theatrical ending and figuratevly in the orginal ending.…

The movie was centered on a new teacher named Mr. Pat Conroy who found a job at the Beaumont, South Carolina school district to work at an island school called “Yamekraw Island”. Mr. Conroy was looking back at this particular experience periodically throughout the movie (however most of the movie is portrayed in the present tense). The Abyss (1910), is a movie ahead of its time. Not only due to the erotic dance scene resembling a modern striptease, but also its plot form, which is very similar to a modern Romantic-drama: Two men fighting over one woman—one a gentleman and the other an abusive cheater. The women ends up wanting the bad boy, because although the gentleman treats her better, he’s not the one she really loves. The movie, The Princess and the Frog, is a story told in New Orleans during the 1920s. Tiana, who is African American, is trying to beat the offs by buying herself a restaurant. It was Tiana’s father’s dream of owning a restaurant, but he was unable to accomplish it because of the hardships he and his family faced. The film, for the most part, shows what life was like for those who lived during the 1920s in New Orleans. So, it is clear that throughout each movie the main characters are confronted with unfamiliar traditions within these strange new cultures they are experiencing. Overall, there are many aspects of these cultures such as traditions, power distance, and in and out groups that are new to them and that they must adjust to throughout their time within them.
